My name is Mrs. Pait.

This is my twelfth year teaching for Roanoke City Public Schools and my eighth year at John P. Fishwick Middle School (formerly Stonewall Jackson). I was born in Western New York, moved to Germany when I was seven years old (I was an Army brat), and then moved to Roanoke at the age of 12.
I earned a BS in Psychology from Virginia Tech and worked in the Mental Health and Juvenile Justice fields before transitioning to teaching. I then earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Mary Baldwin College. Teaching is the absolute best job I have ever had!
This year I will be teaching 8th grade math at John P. Fishwick. I am proud to be a Mighty Charger and am excited about the opportunities that lie before both myself and my students this year. I look forward to helping each student grow, explore, and further discover his/her potential and abilities.
