High School Credit Explanation

I wanted to give you an update on how this high school credit is going to work for this class - Digital Applications.

1. If you passed last semester but  "fail" this semester, then you will only receive .5 high school credit for the first semester you passed, and that grade will be calculated into your GPA. The "fail" grade will not be calculated into your GPA.

2. If you passed last semester and earn a "pass" this semester, then you will receive 1  high school credit for passing both semesters, but the "pass" will not be calculated into your GPA (only the first semester grade will be reflected in your GPA).

3. If you passed last semester and pass this semester and receive an actual letter grade for both semesters, you will receive the 1 high school credit and both letter grades will be reflected into your GPA.

I will need to know by Friday, May 29th if you want to receive a letter grade or a "pass" grade for second semester.

I will continue to monitor your progress over these last few weeks, so please check your grades frequently for my class to see what you are missing, and take this time to get caught up on your work and stay caught up! I know it's easy to procrastinate and put off the work until the end, but I ask that you please not do this! As you complete your missing work, I will update your grade.
